Completely agree, I've read the official translation and it's very nice! Not an exceptional story, but a nice read worth your time. To add more to your list ;)

6. There are no dumb misunderstandings that stretch for god knows how long
7. Any brainless behaviour has a context and a cause, so you don't get annoyed reading it
8. The plot has predictable main points, but the details are not obvious, so it's still a pleasant journey
