I know she was desperate for him(Damian needed to intervene because she was doing too much) but he literally said he'd rather die than marry her, not a positive feeling towards this girl since they were kids. Raymond didn't say much to him out of curtesy maybe? Damian knew he was uncomfortable to an extent. But he is still so clueless about his bf's feelings.
