Due to health issues, BR will be on hiatus until September 5th. They will release the mini comic strips on August 22nd and August 29th. On September 5th, they will release ep105 in South Korea.

The English version now lags behind the Korean version by two chapters. For example, ep104/107 was released on Friday, August 8th in South Korea but will be released on Tappytoon on Saturday, August 23rd. Based upon this, the release schedule for the English version of the upcoming chapters will probably look like this:

August 23rd: Ep104 (ep107 on here)
August 30th: hiatus
September 6th: mini comic strip
September 13th: mini comic strip
September 20th: Ep105 (ep110 on here depending on ch numbering)

There’s no English chapter next week. The next chapter will be released on August 23rd so unfortunately we have to wait two more weeks to see Ines and Carcel’s reunion.

The truth is, Ines is the one who loved that house and while sick and dying, she wrote letters to Carcel that she never sent. In one of them, she expresses to Carcel how much she loved the little house atop Logorño Hill. She and Carcel visited it for a gathering when she and Carcel were living in Calztela in their huge mansion. Carcel still owns that mansion in this current timeline. That’s where Ines had most of the guns sent. Anyway, Ines loved the little house so when Carcel found her unsent letter, he begun to fulfill her wishes she wrote in the letter. While he didn’t want to believe she was truly sick and dying at 23 years old, he bought the house to grant her wish. It was an excellent move because Ines, who was in a coma for many days, woke up one day to find herself moved to that house. After that, she began to get stronger, began to walk again and eventually was able to walk in their garden outside. Her health had miraculously improved. She lived there for five years before dying.

It’s kind of amazing that Carcel bought the house in this timeline right from the beginning of their marriage. It’s as if he was answering first timeline Ines’s wishes that they live their married life in that house. As the story continues, we will see that there are things from the first timeline that Carcel does that’s like an unconscious leak through from the first timeline. Another example is the diamond earrings he bought Ines in ep 40, page 12. He bought her those earrings in the first timeline just before he left for the battlefield never to return alive again.

There are more leakthrough from the first timeline but I will address them when the manhwa brings them up.

I simply adore how Carcel has already made a big impact on Ines’s life. This chapter shows so clearly the contrast between Ines at 16 - 20 versus present day Ines who can smile at her brother when she woke up. Luciano has always been a source of contradiction to Ines in this current TL because no matter what, Ines has always loved her brother the most. However, that love is now finding its way back after Carcel began to make a difference in her life. In manhwa ep65, when Ines met her old self and decided to live once again doing the things she likes, it’s Carcel and Luciano who were in her vision.

In Mendoza, it was Carcel’s influence on Ines that prompted her to invite her brother to Calztela to hunt with her and Carcel.

It was also Carcel who invited her brother to accompany her to the Formente match in his place. That means that from now on, when Carcel isn’t there to deter Oscar and his crazy wife, he can send Luciano in his place.

Ultimately, Carcel is helping Ines gain back all the relationships she lost. The bottom line is, Ines does love her brother and her father. The more people she has to support her this time, the better it is for her fight against her enemies.

Carcel’s treatment of Ines has always been consistent. Not sure why some think he will suddenly treat her bad. He still nursed her all night without sleeping after the crazy lady incident even though he knew what she had tried to do. He has always treated her well regardless since she became his wife.

FYI, there will be no English chapter next week. The next chapter will be released on August 23rd. Of course if you can’t wait to see images, the Korean raws are out on social media websites like X and Instagram.

Sometimes I wonder if people read this story speedily or selectively. Ines chose Carcel solely to divorce. To assuage her conscience, she even persuaded herself that in the end she won’t harm him because she erroneously believed he would appreciate a divorce so he can live freely pursuing women for the rest of his life (that’s why she got upset when before marriage he told her he intends to be a faithful husband and she slapped him) but also gain the duke’s title. Carcel has never inherited the duke title because there’s a rule that he has to be married before inheriting or shortly after inheriting the title just like Luciano had to in the first true timeline. So Ines convinced herself she would not be harming him despite the fact that nobles rather kill their spouse than divorce their spouse because divorce is seen as scandalous among them. The fact remains, she planned out this significant event for Carcel and intended to follow through with it unbeknownst to him. I really don’t see what his premarital lifestyle has to do with it because it’s not like Ines decided to scrap the plan. She continued with her plan and in fact never had any intention to live a genuine married life with him since she even went as far as consulting lawyers at the mere age of 12 years old when Carcel was just a little boy learning succession lessons.

So I ask, did she consult Carcel about choosing him to marry for divorce? Did she consult him about the fact she wanted to bear his child then divorce him? Did she consult him about wanting to raise their future child with only one parent be it him or her? The fact remains, she was planning to upend his life and he hadn’t a clue. It’s not even from partway through knowing him. She planned to upend his life from the time she chose him at 6 years old.

If author thinks it wasn’t a big deal, why is the truth coming out now? Why did Carcel find out the truth now? Why will it be addressed in a few chapters? Carcel will pretend he didn’t find out but thankfully the author will still address it soon because it’s something she chose not to sweep under the rug.

Chapter 104 (ch 107 on this site) was released in South Korea today and Ines & Carcel has a beautiful reunion. So many panels of Ines hugging him from behind as if her world is finally at peace. I missed seeing them together and the best thing is, their relationship is only going to get better and better from here.

Readers sometimes comment on the fact that Carcel has loved Ines in every timeline but do you realize that he has fallen for her every single timeline WITHOUT the influence of memories? This definitely sets his love apart because he was never living on old memories to influence his love. He always loved Ines anew. I really love that Ines answered his love in this current timeline BEFORE she received any old memories of their hidden timeline because it shows she also fell in love with him again once she truly got to know him again.

That’s why the Apostle returning her memories AFTER she was already in love is truly wise. Actually the Apostle specifically told her, since she made a GOOD choice (Carcel) this time, he will return her hidden timeline memories.

The greatest purpose of the Bilbao story arc is to explain how the world works and for Carcel to regain his memories. It was not only about Emiliano and Ines but about Carcel learning about Ines from someone who had the opportunity to talk to the Apostle. It also served to show how Carcel helped Ines and Emiliano in the previous timeline which showcased the lengths he would go for Ines. It also showed that Emiliano has basically repaid him for that favor by explaining what he learned from the Apostle. Now he has also asked Carcel for another favor to deliver the fake necklace to Ines with a message of forgiveness. Ines has a lot of guilt over killing her child so perhaps eventually she can forgive herself a little after receiving that message.

Carcel also received a lot of memories so that he can know Ines better, know why there’s a threat to their lives (Oscar attempted to assassinate him and he wasn’t sure of the depth of the reasons why) and he can protect Ines better. If and when Ines one day confide in Carcel as she promised to do when they were at the hunting lodge, she will find a comrade in her story of the past because now Carcel has some of those memories too and she won’t feel utterly alone. One day they will basically be the same in remembering all three timelines until everything is resolved and they can freely live their lives and pile up on new memories over the next decades of their lives.

As far as the length of the Bilbao arc, it’s appropriate because it covers 13 chapters or so and it has a lot of info about the world and religion. The artist and storyteller cut out parts of it to get it down to 6 chapters. Now it’s over and we can finally get back to Ines and Carcel’s love story which has new information and development ahead. We already found out there was a hidden timeline so that needs to be introduced now.
