Apparently BWAT said their next work would not be a happy ending. Problem is they have two work ongoing so no one knows which it’ll be. I’m not sure if this is true since I didn’t read the comment myself but it’s what’s causing the panic

man that really sucks I love their work especially for the happy endings despite all the angst in their stories.. now I think about dropping this story because I can’t handle sad endings

So we got both Dear, 00 and Foul's Start. But we don't know which one will have the tragic ending? I'm currently reading both and either one of the stories could go the tragic route. Based on general vibes and stories which tend to have similar tropes and tones, foul's star is more likely to have a tragic ending compared to this one.

Most likely fouls start, it already had a sad vibe going on in the beginning. It’s not like the author only has tragic endings. The other two had happy ones where no one died.

Exactly... that's soooo true. People find all kinds of reason to always defend the mc. Even when he's neglecting his partner and just expects to be taken care of, people don't think he's a bad partner. If only if were a ML, people would be blasting him saying the mc isn't obliged to clean after him and that he deserves better. No one would defend him saying it's mc's fault for expecting a person to change for him. Isn't it obvious that he stayed because he loved him. A person can only give so much until he has nothing left to give anymore and is fed up being taken for granted. He just talked with that other guy and the mc assumed he might be sleeping with him while the mc himself drinks with all these people n then JJ has to be understanding. Not one person (or many) said that JJ here, deserves better haha. He double standards are soo real. Just swap the positions and the reactions all complete opposite.
