Like is it b'coz she's a merchant or b'coz she's searching for her..
But I think there's something more deep
it’s mostly just how the she came to hate ophelia because she was the one who brought in Nix and how he ended up killing all MC family while she survived with her baby nephew at the time by luck but i’m guessing Nix left ophelia alive so he can get more of her divine energy for himself. But also because the MC happened to find a book which told all about ophelia being the main character and how the MC death is supposed to happen so ophelia can awaken her powers and save the world kinda thing but of course MC doesn’t want to die and wants it survive.
