I think it's because he met Leticia's mother (his saintess) while she was a temporary saintess.
He's not fake, but I guess his allegiance won't change if he already had a saintess. He's just not the current saintess' wing.
If my guess is right, then Noelle must have met Leticia's mother after she had her baby, thus after she lost her temporary saintess title.
