And Clough has this inferiority complex towards Aeroc, he was out of his league, it’s also one of the reasons why he settled for Rapiel. So when Aeroc committed the crime, the tables were turned, Clough wad the punisher and Aeroc is the sinner. Now he can do whatever he wanted, it’s weird Aeroc killed his wife and his solution was to turn him into an omega and impregnate him.
Clough is also arrogant, prideful and selfish. He couldn’t see even as Aeroc was dying that he was truly sorry for what happened and that Aeroc just truly loved him.
