I'm note sure if he knows his dad was going to try suicide or if he thinks he was almost abandoned but those are traumatic anyway. So despite the fact I think the writer have never interacted with kids because he makes no sense for a 6year old, he does know darkness.

Mc is definitely a heartless, “the perfect” heartless ig. Also sidenote: the mc’s eyes always intrigued me cause they’re sm more detailed than everyone else’s also the colors in his eyes are contrasting. Idk if that means anything in the story or if it’s just an artistic take but I always seem to look back at his eyes every chapter
