I never not even for a moment liked the ml. From the very beginning he was selfish and jerky. I really really love the selfless character of ian. My man saw camelia and not camelius at first. He was never confused not hesitant about what he want. He never for once compromised her happiness for his own greed. I feel like after all the hardship she went she should be with ian. I mean with ian she would grow as a person, strong and independent and never have to make decisions what others wants her to make. The ml is simply manipulative and i feel like how birds imprint first being they see as their mother camelia might think she is in love with ml because he was the first person to show some kindness. At this point even the crown prince is better the ml（￣へ￣）
I am so mad at lariette for adding into his grieves and make him think he is like the emperor whom he despise more than anything. She is just drowning herself into her selfmade hole of sorrows. She didn't learn anything from her past ignorant self. I was able to sympathize with her in the beginning but girl is getting on my nerves. She shouldn't have tried to kill herself by burning, she shouldn't have blamed ruperet for the future deeds which he didn't do in present, she shouldn't have made my dude hate himself and made him cry so much. Hasn't he suffered enough. And now after tori did the same thing she did without even saying she is sorry or that she didn't jate him she expects the male lead to forget everything and be happy ever after together. Sigh** atleast show a little bit of redemption
‘Hasn’t he suffered enough’ is wild cause Lariette suffered as well albeit differently. First you’re framing her trying to kill herself by burning as an inconvenience to Rupert rather than an example of how fed up her mental state was and how helpless she felt. And, I implore you to think hypothetically that if you learnt that someone killed you in the past life, would you not be wary of that person as the chances that they can kill you is no longer zero?
After awhile, I get how it can be annoying that she thinks that Rupert is still trying to kill her but I think it’s okay in terms of it being a flaw of Lariette because it shows how skeptical and paranoid she is cause of her past life and how she hasn’t completely just forgotten it.
‘She shouldn’t have made him hate himself and cry’ Bro, she isn’t his mother and she’s going through her own shit. Yes, his life is shittier than hers but her’s is still shitty. She distanced herself for a reason, it’s not like she stayed there and berated him constantly.
