The author threw in a lot of elements that don’t exactly add up. What was the reason of having the 3 of them do a modeling gig. Why is he sleeping with the flower shop owner when he is sleeping with his assistant. What is the relationship between his assistant and himself it just leaves more questions
I don’t like that the seme can sleep with whoever he wants but he is allowed to cock block the uke even when the uke wanted to be a seme. The author making it impossible for the uke to top someone was also annoying- the artist had a perfect opportunity for the uke to sleep with someone else and then realize his feelings afterwards instead he makes it impossible for the uke to become hard <—- so the seme gets to sleep with someone else but the uke isn’t allowed to do it <—- the double standard is extremely frustrating and I can’t let it slide
The black hair guy has a video and picture of doing stuff to the MC and he kept it why did the author forget to address this. I thought at the very least the ML was going to take the phone smash it into a million pieces and just throw money at the black hair guy for a new phone????

Okay so I went back to the prequel when you mentioned incest, and NO to answer your question. As far as I can tell, Byul’s actual dad actually had an affair and he left Byul and his mom for the other family, we never see them. But the dad always giving Byul’s mom false hope that he will be back for them, in truth he would never gave up his other family. Hyuntae’s is not the other son of Byul’s dad. My guess is Hyuntae aware of Byul’s family problems and he told everything to the dad so the dad could prevent Byul and his mom to move.
Hyuntae is indeed quite crazy back then, but I don’t think he’s THAT crazy now. He’s still quite possessive, BIG YES. if he’s still crazy as he was in high school, he would took advantage of Byul who was in heat and claim him when he had the chance. Just saying.

But what I said are also wrong. I thought Byul's dad is Hyeontae's bio dad. and thank to @Hale for the correction it.
If I remember correctly, it was never explicitly mentioned if Hyeontae and Byul are “biological” step brothers. We just know, that Byul’s biological father had already been married to Hyeontae’s mother, before he even cheated with Byul’s mother. That was also the reason, why Byul’s mother tried so hard to keep it hidden from Hyeontae’s aunt.
Then the question is, had Hyeontae’s mother already had him before marrying Byul’s dad? Either, Byul’s dad is a proud alpha and would never marry someone, who already has a child or Hyeontae’s mother is from “higher” class and the only reason he was able to marry her is exactly because she already had a child, i.e. her value “dropped”. The latter would make more sense, if he didn’t want to get a divorce. So, going with that logic, they should be step brothers on “paper” only.
On the other hand, it looks like both Byul and Hyeontae are that beta guy step brothers as he has born a bit later.
