I think the author made a lot of mistakes that’s why a lot of people including myself disliking this story. The author makes out the MC to be a major a hole that doesn’t really feel remorse even the second season didn’t feel right at all.
The biggest thing I can’t get behind is that the omega continues havigg bf sex with the alpha knowing that’s his son’s boyfriend. I don’t care if it’s love, because the love for your child so always be higher on the totem pole then a new lover. We also didn’t get the full story behind Siwoon and why that failed- if alphas are suppose to be these very possessive individuals why would they not try to get back together later in life. Lastly why did the author try to create some fake story about BUWON- why would the beta ever get involved in Buwon’a finances that BUWON achieved in his own that’s not the beta’s place. The beta let the Jaehee spend his money in whatever all the time so for the last chapter to show us that BUWON is out of the picture and he turned out to be an ahole I don’t believe it and the author was just trying to take the focus away from him.
FOR THE RECORD IN THE NOVEL- the beta never cheated and the beta just disappeared and never returned which is what he should have done in this manhua because no one is about to just be completely fine with having their ex significant other marrying their parent that’s just awkward AF.
Maybe if the author didn’t make everything seem so juvenile and showed us more adult version to this story instead of focusing on the smut this could have had potential if it wasn’t a son/mother situation.
