This manga is one of my favorites. Aoi didn't like to be touched by anyone which came from the fact he was getting molested at home. Shiina loved him anyway even though they couldn't be physical which lead to deal of you can have sex with me after I die.

In my opinion there was no way to prevent Aoi from killing himself he wanted to die from the very beginning he was just bearing it because shiina was there for him..
