slowburns are like my favorite trope in romance stories ever so this is definitely my cup of tea. btw i also love the little game world? it fleshes out the characters so much and the world building, making it feel like a actual game. tbh if illusion or little flower was a real game i would def play it.

i went into this expecting a sort of love triangle, which is whats kinda show to you at the start of the story. but after a while, it feels like the relationship with blue hair guy and brown hair fizzles out within the story to focus on sex scenes. speaking of the which, some of them just feel weird? I don’t how to explain but the shot where the blue haired guy is acting all giddy abt the brown haired guy and it cuts to the brown hair and ceo dude having sex reads more like japanese cuck fantasy manga that you would find on the “het” tag on MRM, then a haha hehe funny moment. thats just me tho.
not trying to be that one woke friend but like the emphasis on yona pale skin, the orientalist outfits, and the misuse of the arabic language is driving me insane. not to mention the fact the blatant racism in the comics. like we get it, the only arabic fiction you ever read was Aladdin buddy stop repeating the same joke over and over anyways this is booty cheeks and i wish we had more arabic representation that wasn’t just straight up racism
Wait how its racist?
if you’re referring to the comments, (which i just realized i typed comics instead of comments) someone in the comment section keeps on referring to “Al” (which literally means the) as a “ ali baba bitch”. which is either a reference to the chinese reselling company (which makes no sense) or the more likely versions, either a horrible misspelling of Prince Ali Ababwa, or Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. I’m sure you’ve at least heard arabic people complain how aladdin is horrible representation and relies heavily on stereotypes throughout the story, (i.e: the revealing clothing the female characters wear, which some of the characters within this story wears. this is a botched interpretation of what traditional arabic clothing worn by women looks that have been created by colonizers).
woa holy yap
