its a fairly nice setting with decent characters, but the "misunderstanding/miscimmunication" element is so baseless it's making everything else make less sense. i really like the art tho. it makes the characters look fun, a bit cheeky. i kinda wanna pet them on the head and pinch their cheeks. cuties. hope whatever this is resolves quickly and we move on to the main appetizer.
and honestly it's pretty mid compared to this volume. of course i couldn't read the dialogues since i do not know japanese, but it doesn't take a genius to follow the story with all the visual cues (thank gods for comic story format with pretty pictures). it's just a chewed up recycled version of the first volume honestly which is somehow not surprising to me. but all's well that ends well. the main pairing are still together by the ebd of everything. and thats the only thing that really matters in this type of story. its what gives you peace of mind as a reader. but yeah VOL 1 MUCH BETTER. OG BEST.

the timeline of things, the events...it's all jumbled up. what a mess. it was pretty coherent up till chapter 12 but these last two chapters were done so badly in terms of getting the story across my head hurt from trying to keep up. it's either the translation or the panelling. something is not adding up and it's ruining the buildup like toppling dominos
