Y'all beg for a complex character but then turn around and hate on characters like victor, like just because heart is nice to him doesn't mean victor owes him or is obligated to love him back.
Victor is still deeply in love with Henry , he is not trying to move on rather he is trying to bring back Henry, thus not acknowledging heart since that's not his goal to begin with

exactly this… i think there’s too many kids reading ts, because the people in the comments act like they want a cookie-cut story to be spoonfed to them. in real life you cannot control what the heart wants, you can’t control who you have feelings for and who you don’t. not to mention it’s only the beginning of the story??? not even 20 chapters yet and people think victor is crazy for not immediately being head over heels for some random guy he accidentally revived and doesn’t know. i predict he’ll eventually fall for heart, but it would be unrealistic for it to immediately happen.

1. Dennis is seen as another sheep in the story. his boss warns him “trust nothing but the sheep” so when he finds out they’re all dead, he felt betrayed and he kills himself.
2. He doesn’t see anything in the cliff, he just looks down at it because of its voidness/ emptiness, the same way he was feeling in that very moment.
3. I don’t think his boss knew specifically about Todd but he knew something was out there killing the sheep. i’m assuming the previous shepherds continued to fail at keeping them alive.
4. he’s not a ghost but more of a representation of destruction, betrayal, and deception. In the end Todd isn’t dead, Dennis just doesn’t find him. he thinks he had just killed the sheep and left him.
5. His boss doesn’t know Todd specifically, he’d hired people before and they’ve been through the same thing as Dennis, i’m assuming.

Todd was the coyote. His goal was to manipulate Dennis. As what the owner said: "I TOLD YOU TO TRUST NO ONE!" so this already happened before. Dennis wasn't the first, there's already a lot of victims. Todd didn't die as well. He either left with the sheeps or ate them all and then left.
And Dennis couldn't handle the betrayal. he klled himself after cause he was heartbroken. He realized Todd lied and betrayed him.
