Like, her possible nephew is the son of her greatest enemy (the princess) and he would be the heir to the duke but also (currently) the only heir to the kingdom. And cousins with the FML’s and ML’s children. But the FML’s children might also be the heirs to this other kingdom cause I don’t know whose daughter she really is.

He’s apologising for ignoring her because he was scared that she had become like the others who were “unclean” due to their souls (as he can now see hers since she came back from her world).

He didn’t know that she had sent a bunch of letters because they never reached him. When he read those letters, he realised that she hadn’t changed and that it was wrong of him to ignore her, hence why he apologised.

i don't think it's about the killing per se (though maybe it is), i think she wants him to avoid the flags that could lead him to become "the villain" and thus end up dead or something
