I’ve read the rated version a few times before, but I just realized something after reading it again cuz of the new updates of the mature one. Do you think Minhee (Ms. Song) likes Seheon? Because I can’t think of any reason why she would purposely take off her bracelet inside Seheon’s office after seeing how close he is with Yushin. Maybe she just wants to stir up some drama or something? I guess we will know about her motives in next season.
And I thought she was an ally to Yushin, but nope—kinda disappointed in her. Earlier in the story, I actually thought she was the one with empathy, not Seheon. But now, seeing how Seheon was willing to leave Doguk with Yushin if anything happened makes me love him more and more and show to me who’s the real ‘human with empathy’. I just love his character development, man. (Can this even be considered character development? I don’t know, but I love it.)
Can’t wait for season 3! I’m excited to see more dramas and of course to see them being lovey-dovey with each other (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

1. Yes, Hamil is infatuated with Aristine. It was sort of an interest at first as he wanted to 'see' this woman his brother and competition to the throne married. Honestly, he didn't seem like he had good intentions when he first approached her even in the book.
2. I can't say that if its one or the other as there were moments in the book where he was being an ass considering his standing as the queen's son and the one they wanted to lobby for as the next king. But he does a turnaround and I do end up rooting for his own happiness by the end of the book. He's a good guy at the core with the makings of a good ruler (cunning, knows when to be ruthless, and has a keen eye). Unfortunately for him, he was born to a family like his mother. Something happens near the end of the book that made me see that he was also a product of his circumstances and he tried to make up for his mother's sins.
3. NOPE, Aristine is not gonna be dense about it. Sure, she thinks he was teasing the first few times and she kept him company because he was her friend. But when she found out about his identity, she cut off any form of friendship with him as she could never be friends with her own husband's enemy and one whose family actively opposed and planned to get rid of her and Tarkan to pave his way as the next king.
4. Totally get what you mean by getting ewww vibes from him. I totally got that during jis first few appearances in the book and during some in the latter part BUT he gets a character development and I like how he turned around to try and make up for everything his mother and family had done. He even saves Aristine while she was pregnant and the queen sent assassins to get rid of her and the baby.
So there. You can hate Hamil during his earlier appearances because damn if he doesn't deserve it with what he will do,but ya know, he accidentally falls in love and yes, he gets a character development along the way.

from what i understand so far:
kazami gave ikuse a manuscript and asked for it to be submitted for the newcomer's award.
ikuse didn't want to. my guess is that he's resentful and jealous that kazami managed to create a story so amazing despite it being 'something he whipped up' while ikuse himself couldn't create anything like that even though he had always wanted to be a novelist (that desire is represented by that child version of him)
so instead ikuse described kazami's manuscript to the older author, who used it and published it under his own name. that's why ikuse's colleague was talking about the older author's second coming, when really this author is plagiarising kazami's manuscript.

Idk how much of it stems from his own resentment, when there's also the scene and mentions of his father and the sketchy behavior of that old author. Doesn't take away that he is weak willed, but there are a lot of details and so called foreshadowing that need explaining.

Okay so I don’t really fond any of them yet. Like having a specific one to root for. But I don’t like the way Taeha and Juwon talked bout the MC. Especially Juwon. “You touched him first”? Why is he talking like MC is a thing that belongs to him? These two are wary of each other. It would have been funny if Blondie gets the man in the end. Lolololol (=・ω・=)
