The second chapter was getting me quite down and then it suddenly ends with that lighthearted tone. That was pretty nice although I really liked every bit from the start as well. And that phrase,"The feeling of accidentally tearing off a scab" really stuck. And then I just read someone comment that this has just been discontinued and now I'm gonna rant. No that it's 100% reliable and that this rant would do anything but at this point, this is really just a rant. It's just that I find a story with substance that doesn't leave me indifferent about the characters after scrolling through a lot of selections in the the yaoi and shounen-ai list and then after being able to read two beloved chapters I hear it's discontinued. And then I remeber another relatively long running cookie cutter manga that even got it's anime and it gets me sad (and I'm not talking about super lovers because I love super lovers and it's jus not cookie cutter enough). And it's not that I don't know why I just sometimes really want to rant about it. Damn it. So long. (I've quite made a fool of myself but I'm still hoping that baka-updates made a mistake about this being discontinued).

I don't have anything against Ren being manly and dominating and him pushing Haru down (it's interesting actually) but I really want him to be an uke when the time comes. It's also the vibe I'm still getting from the manga. Those characteristics I've mentioned are not necessarily equivalent to seme after all. I think him wanting to be more mature is about wanting to be simply at equal standing with Haru, a partner.
I could smell all the cigarette smoke while reading chapter one.
Also the art style to me looked like a mixture of ougi yuzuha's (just the face) and ogawa chise's.
I agree about Ogawa Chise (not too sure about Ougi Yuzuha, but I think the floaty hair is definitely similar).
lol All the characters sort of look like Tao from "Noblesse" because of their tall and thin bodies and hair.
I just realized I was actually thinking about nakamura asumiko when I mentioned ogawa chise, but yeah, hers is there as well. About ougi yuzuha, I guess it was the round, solid black pupils that reminded me of her. And maybe some parts where the necks were drawn thick. But it's especially the guy on the left in this page ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/datte_oishii_no_ga_warui/mf/c001/4/ ) that reminded me of her work.
