I guess the Chihaya-Rachi thing is good for the manga since it makes it a teeny bit less linear but I can't really get myself to be fond of the pairing, personally. Couldn't care less about the thing between them.

I think it's because we don't know a whole lot about those characters and their relationship. We've mostly seen them from an outsider's perspective. What we really need is one chapter, or maybe even a side story, focusing on Chihuya and Rachi; we might come to understand them a bit more. (β'β‘'β)οΎ

Uh, maybe. Doesn't really change my opinion. I probably would've skipped it if it was scanlated or I probably wouldn't have gotten to read this if I knew there was this story next because I would've abandoned the manga. I'm not saying I hate the couple but I'm just saying this considering how I try to find manga I'd want to read. I know they're a couple that could appeal to a lot of other people and I have nothing against that.

Yeah, if it was Rachi x Suzuhara's friend Onose, or even Chihaya x Onose...

Now that other pairings has been mentioned, I think I'd like one with Onose and the third member of Yuikawa's group. I like the latter's cuteness play. I imagine it would be a couple with two very knowing characters. Like with a little less fluffy air in the story. Yes, I'm beginning to fantasize about having another couple.

but that is his charm point

On one side, some people dislike Kou, in another some people hate Jun. It's just that these two characters are being used to tug differently at readers and some people prefer one more than the other. Jun is one character that gives the dramatic satisfaction that there's a younger brother that's always been attached to the MC and is still is and is ready to fight it with the others in a beat-the-odds situation. Sadly, he might be also coming off as just an outsider character trying to break into the trio in the story for others. Kou, now, is one character that brings being reasonable into the story. Of course not completely straight and dense because he has considerations for his romantic feelings. Sadly, he might also be coming off as uncaring since he doesn't concern himself with his brother's emotional needs and rather choose to be concerned about his safety and the others' if he were ever to force his way in (which may not really be completely wrong but the way Kou is seeing things for now, it is). So why was Kou more emotionally settled with Touya? Well, the whole solving the crisis that involves humanity did coincide with Touya and Kou's emotional development with each other (I really might just be being captain obvious with this sentence but still sometimes there can be credit to just pointing it out). Still, somehow, Jun is "spiritually" connected to Kou and has been the close brother for their lifetime so give the kid a break for worming his way in, if that's one way to put it.
I have hated characters in mangas I've liked before and, yes, that was very easy to say, but I have no problems with Jun and Kou here. Jun can seem problematic but he's not deviating from the possibilities of the character I've been introduced to since the beginning. So, yay, Imma read 73 now.

Well, yay. They finally faced the issue. I'd say I think he was crying because the thing he's been frustrated about wasn't really the mere fact that he likes men but that it's specifically Zheng Xi (?), his best friend, that he likes and he was hurt that the said person can't acknowledge that fact. Furthermore, he even chose to think that Jian Yi would cry merely from liking men over recognizing that he is crying because of the shaky situation of his deep feelings for Zheng Xi.
That little sister's like the author's pawn. It's like "I want them to kiss," throws in little sister, and then "Oh no you can't say anything yet," throws in little sister.
hahahaha..tht's just might be the cause..to kill us all too.
