Sometimes authors create characters we're meant to dislike, normally they're antagonists but in any case, disliking a character does not mean you dislike the author--that idea is nonsense. Imho Hyesung's character is underdeveloped and I think folks are frustrated with that, moreso bc they like Dojin and Byul and they want to see a happy family.
