I procrastinated for a long time after letting this marinate overtime. I binged read this & tbh I liked it. Sure, it was not as indepth as the novel but somehow i didn't hate it as much as I initially thought I would.
Our ML is a red flag thoroughly. But he plays it so well and he is very well aware of his actions. He's a villain that knows how to play his cards right, he isn't like the typical male lead. He manipulated everything around FL just so that she could love him & he even accepts that. While our FL is strong in her own way. There's a subtle feminine way about her characteristics that feels like she's being wrapped around Damien's fingers but it turns out the total opposite when you get to see Damien's POV of how much Chloe occupies his mind, body and soul.
Well, I like the groveling from the ML, all while him still not accepting his mistake is very Damien coded. Only when Chloe decides to accept her love for him & to return to him as his wife does he say he'd kneel for her a thousand times. In a way the ML is written well. I hated him but I also would have folded like how the FL did.

The blurry lines of dubcon is so strong in this story. Sometimes, I lowkey feel sorry for the uke even tho he was the one who chose to deal with them both. Like he was bullied (You can't convince me otherwise) and then had to carry unrequited feelings for 9 years, then the first relationship he get into is a polyamorous one where he's more like the buffer between the semes dealing with both their twisted way of thinking, feelings or emotions. Yeah sure he's imperfect too but he doesn't seem as selfish as the two seme, he's more like a pushover that everyone dumps on which just makes me feel sorry for him. (￣∇￣")

Besides that Eiser disappointment me because I was expecting for them not to get divorced and destroy all those who were coming for them. But what can we say... If i take this metaphorically without separating head, heart and dick individually. It seems to me like Victor has trouble accepting. He's a lonely, scared, insecure & often isn't truly sincere or honest about how he feels while at the same time he wishes and longs to be loved and accepted. Henry had his own struggles w his multiple interest, sex addiction etc etc. But did Viktor ever truly confessed his true feelings to Henry? Did he ever voice out his jealousy or displeasure? Not really.
This is all speculation but Viktor mistreating Heart could be an indication that he never really accepted Henry's heart/love because he couldn't trust his heart or feelings deep down because if the next time Henry found someone else interesting he would be thrown away & maybe he was scared of that.
They were leaning more towards FWB situation and not lovers imo. Because the way he was more obsessed with Dick and Head this season while mistreating heart makes it seem like he could accept his dick and his rationality which is Head but could never accept heart because he couldn't believe Henry lowkey.

Also, the way Head asked or lowkey threatened Viktor to be honest about how he feels thus Viktor crying to Dick asking him not to cheat or sleep with other people. That was probably the first time Viktor was truly honest about how he felt, how he didn't want Dick (Henry's dick) to HOE around. While Dick confessed how he jacked off only to Viktor and was jealous. At the same time Viktor wandered if Head ever got jealous and Head insinuating it was better left unknown. This all makes it seem like Henry did have interest. He slept around maybe to get a rise out of Viktor, because his head seems manipulative, he has a high sex drive while his heart was already in love w Viktor. But Viktor being Viktor never truly confessed and could never accept his heart because he couldn't believe Henry could truly have feelings for him. Lmfao. I'm just speculating atp.
Ps : waiting for season 2. Rooting for heart. ♡ I hope we get the povs of Henry or atleast Head, Dick and heart.

Lmao I didn’t read your whole comment yet but THANK YOU! I literally thought the same thing about Victor never actually confessing his feelings. This chapter and others have shown that Victor lacks communication and hides his feelings plus goes with the flow. I feel like Henry asked him for sex and Victor automatically assumed they were lovers.
