It has to be visual like something that can be played out on a stage. It has to forge a new bond between the characters. It can't be thoughts and feelings that change. There has to be a real event. Forgive me for saying this, but give an option instead of just complaining. I'm not trying to be rude so please pardon the bluntness. Seriously give some thought to another device that will do the same thing as a rape in a plot. I'd be interested to hear some ideas from those this bothers so much
