The good part is that the authors are getting more well-known and extend their fanbase. This in turn brings in people who can also pay. For their favourites, even some poor ones make a sacrifice for their fav. The more reach you have, the more people you attract to your work. Become addicted to mangas, mahuas and webtoon by reading them likes this. I do not think many people will just go buy 15 online for their first time in this medium, especially since many do not have a physical store where it is sold.
