If you think about. He thought that the ML got a new lover and just forgot about him. He thought that he was the only one looking for him and in pain the whole time. Once the MC found out that the ML actually forgot his memories but still went to see his dead mate every month for the last 17 years even though he didn't remember anything. It changed a lot. The MC just thought he didn't want to remember, not that it actually forgot everything.
The story really went from. I feel bad for the MC then I feel bad for the ML then they both happy, was cry.
