I feel like I got catfished by the art style. Like at first I felt bad for the mc but now he’s just pissing me off, all he talks about is ME!ME!ME from chapter 2 onwards because omg it should not be that hard to make ONE good decisions, you’re a damn adult who was given a second chance yet all you do is wine the whole damn time about problems you made!

I loved this shit so much! I can’t believe this was the end… I’m glad I read this all the way through and I can’t wait for more stories like this in the future!
This ending was horrid! Because what do you mean this is the end!!!! There is no way like come on that was so rushed and nothing was even situated at the end…

Am I the only one sick and tired of the great abundance of stories having multiple chapters just being back stories because lord have mercy I just want to move forward in the story!
ehh I kind of get it, because it gives context and stakes to the current plot, but it can definitely get annoying if it happens constantly. I think though once we get through this part, it might be awhile before we get another flashback because this one has established how they met/dynamic/history ect so the only thing left is the ML's backstory (if its any special) and MC's past partner.
I completely agree with you it’s just almost every story I’m reading right now they’ll be 10 or more chapters of just backstories and it’s something makes no sense to the current point in the story like that timing doesn’t make any sense for the story I’m not specifically talking about this one I’m just talking about backstories in a whole.
That's why I've been waiting out for this flashback lol, I've been vibing with this series so far and didn't want to let a potentially long flashback sequence take me out from reading.
I find long flashbacks like these to be frankly sloppy storytelling, tbh! I find it to be the equivalent of an info dump---something to be especially grating if it's improperly placed or just unengaging (looking at Netkama Punch when I say this...).
