I just read some spoilers. It looks like MC doesn’t have memories of his previous life and only think her current life is from the book she read. She acts like that because it was herself who experienced previous life but somehow that person who turned back the time made it seem like it was from a 3rd person POV which is the novel she read.

I dislike him a bit after this, but I can't hate him that much because you gotta understand that his concerns for her was reasonable. You can't just let some random strangers in even if they said they were friends with your husband, especially more so if those friends are all male while she is just a wife alone in the house.
