i lowkey highkey disliked yoonseul. i’ve met many men like him and it’s just… meh. but i can’t say i didn’t know that from the very beginning, since it was made VERY clear, how manipulative he can be.
it still pissed me off throughout the story, because since yoonseul is master manipulator, jun is master at being manipulated. and i’ve been there & done that, so it was kinda flashback after a flashback
HOWEVER, i liked it, i guess (i can’t say i really disliked it or even hated it) - even when it pissed me off. and even when it left bitter aftertaste. i STILL kinda liked it. because genuinely, it’s well written in my opinion (whether you like the characters or nah) and the art is gorgeous. and because like damn, it could be really sweet at times. and jun is just… jun. hey, he is my fave.
i also appreciated that it was pretty much a slow burn all way through; i don’t really fw stories where they “jump at it” in the very beginning, god forbid in the first chap. (my standards are pretty high after tu quoque and swing baby, what can i say.)
also, i was hoping for them to switch in the side stories, yoonseul would definitely deserve a taste of his own medicine (and it would be hot af)
