okay calm down i was just adding onto your statement. in yaoi, we only see manly tops and girly bottoms, which plays into an unhealthy and downright wrong representation of gay people. it also doesn't help that there are little to no switch couples in yaoi, either. i wouldn't mind seeing yohan as a bottom, i honestly don't really care, but i think that we should also see some more couples that switch. i feel like it provides a more interesting story, too, and i don't see why my comment was offensive? i didn't even specify that i wanted gyoon and jihye to be a switch couple, i just said it in general because the two topics were kind of similar.

Not once did I display any behaviour that was 'uncalm', nor did I say that your comment was offensive. I just said that my comment was targeted towards those who were upset over Gyoon and Jihye's positions (I thought that would be shown clearly in the title....). I agree that there's little to no switches, but that was not the point of my comment. All I did was correct you.

I'm sorry for misinterpreting your reply, you just sounded like I said something offensive. I mean, I'm all for whatever the author chooses to do and I do think the readers who are getting pressed about the positions shouldn't be, i just thought i could talk about the things the yaoi genre gets wrong about gay couples and the lgbt community, which is why i brought the switch idea up. some people get defensive over this issue because yaoi is problematic and all but you are right about the fans and fujoshis being way too triggered over the relationship's development (those types of people probably don't even want a switch relationship between gyoon and jihye, they just want gyoon to bottom because of the feminine bottom and masculine seme you mentioned). again, i'm sorry if i said anything wrong or rude, i really didn't mean any harm or malice, i just thought you were mad at me lol
