Jeanette is also really dumb, which I mean I can understand since she's like ten, but it's so very annoying. Ijekiel, or whatever his name is, is also an idiot and has a lot more maturing to do because he's a literal child as well.
You can’t compare her to Athy because Athy is actually a grown woman who has actual life experiences to help her and also knowledge of the future which allowed her to survive the first encounter. Jennette is just a child who has none of those experiences because she wasn’t allowed to leave the house or do anything she liked.
I'm not saying it's reasonable to compare them, it's just an observation. It's sometimes easy to forget that Athy is a grown woman because of how she acts around people, so for me personally, I find it infuriating to see how Jeanette pales in comparison to our girl despite their backgrounds.

I can understand Claude because this dude has been through shit more than anyone. He got beat up by his mother as a child, his fiancee cheated on him with his brother, he had to kill his own brother, the only person he ever loved died, he used black magic to erase his memories and emotions which made him forget his own daughter. But Jen is kinda possessive and self centered acting all nice but ignoring Athy in her time of need. Claude sure he pisses me off but he is more justified as his past makes him think murdering sources of unhappiness is the normal thing to do. But he changed sure he has reverted back but we know he has changed. Jen is still the same girl from the original story and we dislike that.
