Rogi is quite messed up himself in Yondaime but I could never bring myself to dislike him... actually, he's always been my fav

Yeah, and I get the feeling Rogi probably had a fucked up past with his parents. Just like how the seme in Yondaime was raped by his father...Rogi probably went through something with his parents and that's why he 1) already had sexual experience when he was a high schooler 2) said things like he wants his parents house burned up (although he didn't seem to mean it seriously)

right? I really hope Hachi can give something that Rogi search for all these time cus what I read in Yondaime he still look so sad....I just want every characters have their happy ending (︶︿︶)

I hope they don't make Hachi gay, and some love interest for Rogi, that would be rather cliche. What's sad is that Reika is aware of just how isolated and emotionally dependent on her, her dad is. He dotes on her, and she probably gave him his first sense of "family". Even when she was at nursery, she was aware that he would get upset with himself rather than scold her (fair enough), and that she was aware of how much a support she was. Wanting him to find a partner, so that when she left home he wouldn't be alone. Not pushing him to reveal whatever secret he's been unable to share. Rogi might have just currently accepted that the past is the past, and he's never going to be a family with Akitora, but is still melancholic over this. Rogi's family background seems quite unhappy, as by a teenage schoolboy, he had already run away and was engaging in further risky behaviour. He joked about wanting their house burned, but this became a reality and he was now the orphaned son of parents who had been murdered by the yakuza. He really latched onto Akitora, not just a short fling, but a requited and unrequited love that has lasted for decades now. How will this be resolved? He's still affiliated to Akitora in terms of the yakuza family, but it's likely been years of no contact from A, the reasons for which haven't been shown. I wonder if Akitora became more isolated from him and his son, after Asami's death. It would also be interesting to see the circumstances of Reika's adoption, as there seems to be some secrecy in regards to this.

Yeah, more than anything, I'm dying to know abou Reika's adoption. But I also think that Hachi and Rogi will end up togheter yes because in the end of the day THIS IS YAOI XD and Akitora has refused to see Rogi for years in the present time(which was the reason for all that shit Rogi pulled on Tatsuyuki) so their relashionship will most probably end at some point of the backstory.

Yep, as readers there are still so many details that haven't been revealed yet. What were the circumstances of Asami's death, what impact did it have? When and why did Akitora start ignoring Rogi? What made, and how did Rogi adopt Reika? Will Akitora ever contact Rogi again, is he really aware of how obsessed/devoted he still is for him after all these years?

Right? The dynamic they've come to have or develop is actually pretty cute!
