Hate this kind of trope where the OG char just died miserably and then another person takes over their body and has a happy ending. Doesn't the person who suffered through all of that deserve to have their happy ending too?

I'm currently reading a story on here called Half of Me that plays with the body swap element, only the younger boy's body refuses to wake. Despite not caring at first, the MC is actually trying his best now to 'save' the younger boy, not simply to get back to his own body but because the boy deserves to have someone help. It's a good read so far, I recommend! It's what led me here but looks like this story is really dismissive towards the suffering boy so I don't think I'll be reading it XD Besides, from the comments it looks like the MC never gets to return to his OG body so this imposter body-snatcher vibe feels uncomfortable!

i agree but i also feel like what has happened has happened.. like it’s sad but he’s already dead and taemin did improve his reputation in school and punish the person who drove him to death. and part of me thinks that maybe siwoon switched bodies with taemin so that he’d finally have someone to stand up for him/he could stand up for himself. the circumstances are sad but i think siwoon would want taemin to be happy at least.

Idk if the author lost the plot or i lost it but i really don't know what was the point of all of that pining, lies and denial in this whole story. I can't see the logic behind MC's actions and behavior. Also, what's going on with the sunbae? Seems like he was hiding something but the story has ended so what was the point of that? Hello?
Lmao the complete 180 sumin did had me dying. How did bro go from being completely antisocial to obsessed in a blink of an eye. They make such a great couple. One is too obsessed and one wants their partner to be obsessed with them. Perfect
