Okay what I’ve gathered from this is that the mc’s memories are sealed because of a plan that the mc and wifey made TOGETHER. So him following what she tells him to do is all part of a grand plan. So she may SEEM manipulative but in fact this is part of the mc’s plan (prior to his memories being sealed). If his memories become unsealed or he ends up knowing too much then their plan will fail which is why it is safest that he is left in the dark. So I don’t rlly see this as manipulative since it’s part of a plan the mc, himself, created. Just gotta wait and see why it was necessary for his memories to be sealed. They make it seem like he’ll regain his memories soon but…I wouldn’t be surprised if another hundred chapters passed by till then.

Not only is she petty af, she seems to be the type to not care what the actual facts are... like our guy wasn't the one to set up this beauty pagent and was honestly looking to find her but she's going to use the "system" to abuse and punish him. This woman plays around too much and I really can't stand her character personality. Because she's "the wife" it'll all work out in the end w/ zero repercussions and he'll be the most powerful being in existence while always being under her thumb... at least that's how I see it going. I liked that junior disciple from the early chapters so much more... IDK why she's still used in the chibi last page given how little she's in the story though... last we saw her, malicious little sister was mind r*ping her and fucking w/ her memories of MC because she's a nasty cunt.

I'm a bit miffed that after that fight, our MC is all happy "yay I'm going to be a special forces soldier" and all... I'd be like "no fucking way I want to work under that piece of shit commander that would happily kill someone as part of a test".
I can't say that I'm a fan of how easily he gets played... maybe I'm just a bigger a-hole than he is, but if I was in his place when the bodies switched, and I wanted to keep big sis in check, I'd threaten to go to the public square and start stripping if she didn't behave. The set up is a little forced to begin with though isn't it, you'd think that the Lord of the domain would have a private bathroom rather than him walking into a shared bathroom. Weird that she wouldn't have a private bath as well, actually. But if she was bathing in HIS private bath, that'd make sense but it also means she's clearly in the wrong here rather than him walking into his own bathroom w/o knocking....
