Marle has always been a pretty shitty character w/ how manipulative and selfish she is.. which I guess makes sense for a princess but that doesn't make her any more likable. I can't stand this trope though of scolding the over-powered hero because the girl "was worried". I mean.. what, exactly, would she have him do differently? if the corrective action is to "not do things that worry her or defy common sense even though she's seen plenty already that should allow her to trust his strength" then the day doesn't get saved, right?

okay, that was a curve ball. wasn't expecting the possibility of him being married to his bio sister... though I know that the girls call him "dad" but aren't his by blood, I don't know if they are his wife's by blood or not. was she a widow or did the couple adopt orphans?

I love Little Moon. She's easily one of my favorite characters in this series so I'm glad to see that Lin's been guilted into taking better care of her. I'm looking forward to finding out what the connection is between the Ash group and the Flaming Sword one... since the owner of the Ash group is one of Lin's followers...

I suppose that's that. not a bad ending. I did find myself wondering what ever became of various characters though. It was hilarious that his teacher, the great witch, made herself a blow-up doll. I half expected it to look like Ike but I'm glad it didn't. I'm also super curious about WHO that one girl is marrying since her and her mom were forcing Ike into that position if I recall. I'm really glad that his mom is alive and well and that he regularly visits her, also that Satie seems to be slipping more into a "wife" roll than a "servant" one. though I do feel a bit bad for Lilith given how devoted to Ike she was/is. I have zero doubts that her devotion wouldn't change in the slightest now that he's revealed to be human. Clearly, she's trying to become human by weird means so that she can continue to pursue him (or so I believe)

ugh... just let the dude DIE already.. his plot armor shouldn't be thicker than the MCs

I don't think it'll happen, but it'd be nice if Raul could snap his fingers and all the people on the island are brought back/reset. I'm fairly certain he has the power to do that. But I don't think he cares enough to actually do that.

these little partial chapter releases seem to be popular these days but they're pretty annoying... so far this isn't terribly engaging but we'll let it cook. hopefully it gets better

okay, could be interesting; we'll give it a shot. I hope there's more to it than some shitty, spoiled kid uses power and influence to "erase" Ellie's only friend and sell orphans to slavers just to torment an "ugly fat girl". I mean.. just how much do you have to vehemently hate a person to do that over "this is fun to make her cry"? not that, that, is acceptable either....

damn so even if the MC wasn't around this turn this demon daughter/saintess would still be fucking around behind the hero's back. and w/ that old gatekeeper no less! it's probably something like "she's fucking him so that they won't have any paperwork issues, she's totally doing this for the hero" kinda bullshit.

that felt a bit like an end cap to me. I know there's still plenty of open plot threads w/ the higher gods/systems but it feels like it could also be an ending when a series gets dropped... idk if that's actually the end, just sort feels like it...

I get that Theo being mentally stunted and "innocent" is supposed to be his defining character trait but COME ON... for being as "in love" as he's supposed to be, how come he didn't ONCE bring up his wife to these two predator pedos? Even if he didn't realize what was happening due to being brain dead, you'd think he'd casually bring his wife up about related topics like "enjoying his food" or "being an adventurer"

Collette understood the whole "indirect kiss" bit immediately and was super on board and smug about it... then the whole "misunderstanding".. yeah... she wants him to spawn on her eggs.... I'm glad that none of the dragons have actually started acting jealous for him talking or spending time w/ the princess in a jealous lover sort of way... or for "adding another dragon to the group"... but it's probably on the roadmap.
