I think the author wanted to fit this in 6 chapters. Cause in start it totally seems like that senpai was his brother, that would totally explain the similar face and he also said he was marrying some director's girl. So I think he rlly is his brother. But the author didn't write all the drama, cause that would end up lengthening things. Maybe in a sequel???

I have no idea but i really hope we get a sequel or spinoff
