Honestly had potential. It's not a bad read but it's just bland. I've read similar stories with the same plot flow but this one doesn't have much personality on other characters, just the protagonist.
On points most readers should expect to be excited, it gives subpar execution resulting in bland finish. I had to skim a lot of parts just to reached 35 chapters and now dropping. Plot isn't even bad but somehow it turned out boring.
Again I don't hate. I guess it just wasn't for me.
Well ive read the ln and i liked it but sure situations were : Raon goed on a mission meet a stronger guy than him beat him up, come back home is recompensed, then stay home a little train and its gone back to mission et ....
I ain't thrilled about the anime adaptation at all. I have this impending feeling that the anime's gonna be a flop. Especially after seeing the teaser trailer I just felt down instead of excited

Yea I know. I guess earlier manhwa's that was adapted and didn't live up to what I expected kinda traumatized me. It's hard when you're one of the 'fans' before the adaptations and you don't see nor feel the love in works. It just kinda feels insulting sometimes when adaptations don't give justice to what these stories has. Like the vibe, mood, energy etc., yk that excitement we feel when we we're still 'reading' them.
Yea and even if they actually included them, the impact is somehow weaker. It doesn't give the same feeling. And then when it becomes too mainstream and watchers are just for 'cool' effects, suddenly 'story' doesn't matter.
Eleceed are realy my type of story cos of our softie Master-Disciple combination and softie Side characters and how story plays out both playful then serious the next. Seriously, all the characters have 'characters' and I really love that. Recent stories that have similar plot flow today just focuses too much on over powered MCs that Side Charac doesn't have personalities anymore.
So, Eleceed going full mainstream with Anime adaptations kinda concerns me cos they might ruin the plot and the characters just to make it look 'cool' focusing on making Jiwoo and Kaiden.

Yeah that's what I meant those are probably japanese name for them??? Arghhh I hated how they looked already knew it's gona ruin my fav manhwa just for cloud only..... Also it's refreshing to read eleceed an MC who's relateble and humble you can see how he grew to be a fine young man who's not power hungry but genuinely want to get strong but trains allot also who's not op and indeed I liked it that the other side characters aren't just for show everyone is important in the story

Right,right!!! Our softie just wants to be stronger to make his lunatic mentors proud and be able to protect his important people. Literally just genuine caring.
Am not hating for the cliché MCs being overpowered and a bit greedy and arrogant and having a bit of a broken personality but OUR JIWOO~~ again OUR JIWOO is just the SWEETEST!!! Some fans may come to dislike other OP MCs but I can never foresee anyone disliking our JiWoo because of his personality.
And to point out that with other stories. Mentors are mostly the thing of the past. They mostly get little screen time and just glorified in flashbacks but with Eleceed bruh Master-Disciple shines in the present and has their own field while still being together.
I don't think I have any memory where a story Master/Mentor ever taught their disciple how to fight through an actually fight. Super Kudos for Kaiden for using techniques he's not used to and doing well in a disadvantage just to teach JiWoo how to utilize his own battle style. Damn respect for that. If I was his disciple, he'll become my world.just.like.Jiwoo.

Luck or something like that and indeed their personalitys changes within in a min so yeah felt that too and i like it and love it that jinwoo doens´t change he´s still so sweet and genuinly good i love it... he´s the most loved mc in this genre of webtoons... and i´m scared to see the anime or it will be a huge flop or it will be huge hit..
I love also that kayden the master in here is shown more you can see how jinwoo grew up the past year and still is and jinwoo isn´t greedy to want more his affection towards kayden is lovely to watch too he´s learning from him because he want to learn it not for status and stuff like that he doesn´t bluff either who his master is he wants to protect him too even his friends... i love to see a little bit more of their training
