Ahem (I have negative things to say so don't click to read more if this might affect you negatively, I'm not trying to sour your reading experience)
First of all (just a personal preference), I wish they were the same height. It was so obvious glasses was going to be the bottom just because he was a little shorter #-.-) Secondly (also just a personal preference), the glasses one would have been cuter without his glasses. Nothing against glasses usually but they actively took away from his appearance, which I realized when he wasn't wearing them at night. Thirdly, it was completely unnecessary for their first time to be at school. It was also a huge turn-off because way more prep would have realistically been needed than some fucking hand cream (think an enema or something else to wash him out because you usually shit out of that hole, and then a LOT of fingering and a lot of actual lube to prepare him because he has never had sex). It's my fault for continuing to read this when it was so opposed to most of my tastes, but they were both twinkish and I just wanted some twinks in my life goddammit ╥﹏╥

Ch 1 I knewww she was gonna tell her she was getting married
Ch 2 She is really leading her on, feels pretty selfish tbh. Tryna have an affair 'cause your life went to shit after you broke up with your girl out of your own volition?
Ch 3 emotional cheating is not cool, even if your partner's a prick. And physical cheating too (kissing)? Seriously uncool

it's almost like people are complicated and flawed and being queer in conservative countries is also complicated and sometimes we write stories about that intersection because it's interesting and it reflects many people's experiences and real life conflicts since most of us are also complicated and flawed. Who would have thought.

... these are drawings, they don't live in any society girl. Why are you talking about them as if they are real people? Maybe you should read further in the manga and stop talking about characters as if they are your classmates and you're judging their messy drama with your friends or something. Well, or not I guess. You're your own boss.
It's not like the manga and story endorses her actions, she's specifically framed by the story as messy, selfish and cowardly for acting the way she does. She is just also framed as more than that. Maybe you just are not able to distinguish between what a story is trying to say and a character's actions. Don't worry, literacy skills take time to develop.

Bro really just came onto this post, said word for word "it reflects many people's experiences and real life conflicts since most of us are also complicated and flawed," and then switched to the "b-but it's just drawings" defense when I said that doesn't excuse her actions. Just say my opinion hurt your feelings and move on bruh, no need to try to rationalize it.

i kind of agree but tazune was more than a prick. he coerced her into having unprotected sex and knocked her up which pinned her down to a relationship she was feeling unsure about. she's not a perfect person but that's what makes her such a compelling character. she's not glorified and although we can understand her character, it doesn't make all of her actions justified or agreeable.

I do see in my tone that I was irritated and talking in a derogatory way to you so I understand that you did not want to hear me out. It makes for bad discussion when I'm the one who jumped onto your comment. Sorry for my attitude.
My point was that we don't read stories for the same reasons we make friends. I don't need to agree with a character's actions to learn about them, characters do not need to adhere to the same social standards because their behavior doesn't have repercussions in our reality. And in this case as I wrote before: "the manga and story don't endorse her actions, she's specifically framed by the story as messy, selfish and cowardly for acting the way she does".
To be more clear, in the Godfather a bunch of people act irrationally and kill each other over vendettas and codes of honor, but saying that they are bad for doing so is kind of besides the point of what the story is trying to convey. It would also be wrong to read a film like The Godfather as a pro "organized crime violence" film, or anyone who enjoys it as someone endorsing murder and crime, for example. What a story portrays and its characters' conduct is separate from its intended message or the journey it takes its audience on.

yeah i think the way she treats maki at first is really bad. she keeps leading her on, but can't decide whether or not she wants to commit but i liked it when she finally decided for herself and broke it off with tazune. honestly i know she technically cheated on tazune but she was honestly a victim in that relationship so it felt more like her liberating herself from an unhealthy relationship more than anything.

I really want to stop hating fujos (namely the ones who ship people irl) just for existing but I can't help it. Fujo characters irk me to no end. Also what the girls did, switching his drink, was so messed up. They should've been reported.
But seriously if anyone has any tips on how to stop hating fujos (other than "just get over it" and "stop caring so much about what other people like") I need them. I have literally dropped manga because of fujo characters, it's almost pathological at this point. I'm going to keep encountering them because I read yaoi so I need to stop fr

Being erotic and obsessive is a part of human nature. Women having hobbies that involve enjoying men being sexual and romantic with each other is so mundane compared to the sexual fantasies regular men entertain on the daily. You're upholding a convention that doesn't do you any good. Its also important to consider the japanese cultural landscape when we criticize them, lolicons, "massage parlors," the cheating epidemic and their sexual crime rates.
When people have something against fujoshis and the whole "moe" thing they get from boy's love it seems like they're just kind of upset that women can be cringey or that women are eager to project their sexual fantasies onto men (when the reverse is a-ok).
And, it's definitely reciprocal, men of all orientations experiencing "moe" when seeing women together and vice versa. Maybe its a deep seated (and sometimes sexually deviant) appreciation for what was (and sometimes still is) taboo. Think Romeo and Juliet, and humanity's appreciation for forbidden love.
Have I said too much? I still have more. But I hope you feel less uncomfortable with women who like gay stuff

The good news is I met a fujoshi in real life recently and didn't feel negatively toward her at all. I think what might actually be the problem here is that I'm asexual and I read BL as a way to view romantic relationships without being involved myself. But when fujo characters come into play, it's like I have to view someone who's kind of similar to me, and that bothers me because I'm trying to be as distant from the story as possible and I don't want to relate to anyone. Idk if that makes any sense to you at all. I also think I'm just uncomfortable with seeing women sexualize men, which is my own problem possibly rooted in trauma (being a man who was sexualized irl against my will) and something I need to work on. I still can't get over fujos who ship irl people though
Do you know what the solution to avoiding all that pain in the ass would be? Have the guy with the smaller dick top. It's really so simple
