When I was like 10 a clip from it randomly appeared in my YouTube recommendations and I was so confused about what was going on under that table. its rly not, theres many differences. for one, rokuto and nanami aren't actually childhood friends -- those are just fake memories the creature "rokuto" has. there was no original rokuto, unlike hikaru. and anyway, its not like that mangaka came up with the concept of non-humans mimicking humans.
