ALL SPOILERS but i got u. so chihiro gets kidnapped by maya and his little goon, with the old man he tortured. he drags him some place, SAs him and like leave him with a broken arm and films it, but bc of the old man’s screams maya and his friend were reported to the cops so chihiro is in the hospital “safe” now when haoran pulls up and apologizes. he obvs feels guilty bc maya only targeted chi bc of him, and chi now has some trauma of being touched. MAYA doesn’t go to freaking jail apparently.. and sends Haoran a vid of him forcing himself on chi, so hao decided to stab him bc why not. he comes back home to chi like baby we gotta run away i did smth bad, but seeing how happy chi is with him, and after going on one final date he abandons chi at the bus stop when they were supposed to run bc “he can’t keep running and dragging the one he loves down” chi leaves and THREE YEARS LATERRRR he’s a successful photographer who hasn’t heard from the love of his life. turns out maya jumped off a building (similar style to Haos mom) and died but hao obviously still did prison time. after years of no word from each other, hao find chi’s photographer instagram and tracks him down. literally ends on them meeting eachother in FOREVER AFTER NOO CONTACT and just them smiling at each other not saying a word ╥﹏╥ “happy” end but kinda irked me esp with no side stories. but v realistic
