Okay this is it. This is my favorite new bl!!! The art is beautiful, the characters aren’t stereotypical personalities imo and I can’t wait to see their relationship progress <3

han April 29, 2019 11:24 pm

I FUCKING LOVE THIS MANGAKA so happy to see another story from them

han April 29, 2019 3:40 pm

THEY ARE MAKING A MOVIE FOR THIS IM SO FUCKING HYPE

han April 19, 2019 12:22 pm

god these plots keep getting more and more ridiculous, I love it lmao! don’t expect every manga to be so meaningful this is just pretty art with pretty porn

han April 19, 2019 12:14 pm

so cute. so so cute. I need a volume 2 or something this is perfect! hope to see more works from this mangaka

han April 16, 2019 11:34 pm

how could I forget about the flower dick

han April 16, 2019 11:18 pm

anyways Alex better get dicked down by Clark or I’ll riot. that boy is submissive as hell and I bet you as much as he likes sucking on Clark’s nips he probably wants it to happen to him.

han April 16, 2019 11:13 pm

okay so Clark honestly seems pretty deranged himself, he seems to have no empathy or care for anything. As for Alex he’s kind of just all over the place I can’t tell what his real personality is but he seems like he just wants positive attention. I kind of want the doctor to get with Alex and Clark I feel like that’d be cute as he’s like the more innocent and kind character.

I love this couple so much I could read thousands of pages of them just being domestic

i feel like some of y’all have read like 2 fluffy bl mangas in your life and don’t realize that the yaoi genre has a lot of sexual assault/rape romanticization. yeah if this was happening irl it’d be fucked up and awful but in bl land, unless it’s in an angsty and dark story, the sexual assault will be not seen as so/seen as that big of a deal. the thing is fiction =/= reality. yes i think in other mangas (not ones like this that are just for the porn) when rape is treated as nothing it can be annoying but if you’re new to this genre you need to be aware of the fact that there is a lot of noncon. now obviously some people have an issue with that because they think it’s normalizing these things and creating negative views of mlm relationships. but unless you cannot think for your own you can realize that these things are problematic when applied to real life situations but when happening to two fictional characters it’s not harming anyone. yes i’d like in some cases for the rape to not be brushed off but in stories like this it’s just supposed to be ridiculous. anyways just my thoughts as i’ve been seeing a lot of comments lately from others angry about this type of thing. also not saying you can’t complain about the stupid and awful shit that’s seen as okay in yaoi i do it too, just realize this is how it is. okay rant over.

well, can we talk about how this isnt just yaoi but anime/manga in general, like really whats wrong with japan and consensual sex?

I mean I kind of like rape roleplay, it bothers me sometimes bc it adds points to the rape culture and all that. we know its fictional but some people are crazy man

oh yeah definitely not just yaoi. japan is basically where all the crazy fucked up shit you can think of is created. like i guess at this point i just expect any romance anime/manga/otome game to have at least one scene where some creepy sexual harassment goes down. i think something else that really bothers me besides japan’s issues with understanding the concept of proper consent is that a lot of young adult books feature similar harassment (well not quite as blatant and wild) towards the female mc from her ‘love interest.’ like it’s weird because i love reading stories that are dark and have twisted relationships, and i suppose that’s why others like to write and produce these things and that’s all well and good but it pisses me off to no end when an author tries to act like what’s happening is healthy and normal. fifty shades of grey for example; there is so much wrong with the relationship in that book and if the author had agreed and said ‘oh yeah it’s fiction this is not good irl’ that’d be fine but no she acts like it’s not an abusive and totally not okay relationship. honestly i could go on forever about this topic just the other day a book that had an abusive love interest that is seen as just a bad boy was made into a fucking movie that 13 year olds will see and think is cute. there is just so much that is wrong and i think that’s why even though i’d like some change i will always say don’t let fiction influence you or your perception of reality. in a way i am glad that we have the freedom to make and publish whatever the hell we want even if it’s not morally good if we police fiction too much then it won’t be the same and censorship needs to die.

    you know
firstly: it ads spice and a sense of danger
sure, there are some manga where it's just too much, but you know what? that's my second point:
    JUST DON'T READ THEM!!!
I think it is ok and all that you guys have your opinion on that matter and that you wanna share it with many other people, but preferences in bl/yaoi are just as diverse as, lets see, politics or food
trump or hilary? banana on pizza or not?
there are all just personal preferences, so I just want to ask you to write bad about the things that other people like
i know I'm doing the same thing with saying what bothers me just like you did
but i just want the negativity to stop
    thanks for reading

    gaywildcat April 12, 2019 12:15 am

right I just think authors could say it's a bad thing, that's all I really don't ask for much my standards are as low as my self-esteem (if I had any) so yeah, life's tough

several studies have actually shown that because of sexual violence being portrayed this way, people actually start becoming desnsitised and may even come to believe (even unconsciously) that sometimes, sexual assault/rape can really lead to love/people who are sexually assaulted feel pleasure while being assaulted. for example, in the porn industry, women are usually portrayed in a way wherein they feel pleasure even though men are being rough on them, and this has actually increased the number of men and women who believe that there are women out there who like being assaulted or that even though women say no at the start, they will eventually succumbed to pleasure. so, yes, even though this is pure fiction, it actually contributes to rape culture, and it's not wrong to keep talking abotu it until people realsise that we shouldn't just brush off stories that protray sexual assault as something normal or something that doesnt lead to grave consequen

Unsurprisingly, sex crimes are a huge problem in Japan and often go unpunished.
