not even gonna lie i was on board with the whole creepy rapist tattoo artist x gangster thing even if the story basically hinged on the mc being dumb and falling for his abuser. i was enjoying the toxic vibes. but of course once the relationship is consensual the characters just ignore and grossly downplay what the seme has done to the uke and supposedly many others. instead they act all lovey dovey and the seme is shown as some sweet flirtatious guy, not a calculative serial rapist. i was not surprised just disappointed and annoyed that of course the mc would be ‘punished’ in the form of more rape as is typical in a lot of these yakuza/gangster/criminal yaoi. i just know the ending will be unsatisfying.
