the only thing that I don't really like is how they made the MC infantilize (a lot more than necessary) the love interest - like I get that they were an adult in a previous life and he is a kid blah blah blah, but like - why make her act motherly? I.e. insisting on washing the ML when her maid could have easily done etc. I don't know, feels weird to me, especially since they're supposed to fall in love later on and it's probably gonna be an uphill battle for the MC to see the ML as something other than a "uwu baby"

what I'm about to say might sound like I support this statement but I absolutely despise it. so my knowledge of marriage from around me is that a man cant take care of himself, so until he gets married his mother takes care of him and after marriage his wife. my family doesn't drink but I know of a culture where the night of the wedding the Newly bride makes wine (or more like grape juice) for their husband before they do the deed.
i don't like this custom because I'm getting married not adopting a child, if what I wanted was a child I would have actually adopted a child. also he has a curse and doesn't want to show it other people, and there arent many maids around (since she fired them all) but yea that's what I think is the case.

It wouldn’t suit the setting at all. Right now the setting is two kids against the world it would be rather strange if the FL were to act like a child AND an educated mature soul at the same time. That just would not make any sense at all. I understand where you’re coming from but right now the story setting is two little kids getting married to each other. He’s literally actually a child it’s in the setting itself, he’s below 18 heck we can’t even tell if he’s not even double digits yet or if the FL is even close to 18 at all. In the story it also says that the attendants were known spies that FL read in the book, she knows they’re there to manipulate the prince that’s why she got rid of them.
yea you are totally right i forgot about the kids against the world part, also its only natural she takes care of him, she is still older than she actually looks (because of the reincarnation) and the ML is clueless about what is going on so it's only natural she handles stuff around that castle.
