besides the obvious sociopathic tendencies that the ML has, i think the one thing that kind of still ruins this read for me to this day is how the author pointed out that NONE of the guys in this story see women as equals (which they're yakuza, blah blah blah - but literally its their fictional world, so they cld have just not included that in there) (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
I think it just shows how realistic the story is.the author could have made everything roses and rainbows making all yakuza visit church and take part in the pride parade but that's just not what happens.
I found that both disturbing and interesting, but it explains a few things right? Yoshino grew up in a male dominated world, but she knows how to navigate it.
Also, the one she trusts the most, the one she goes to when she needs help, is her female cousin. She cherishes the men in her life, but she still keeps them at a certain distance. I think that is significant.
OOH, that's a good point - I didn't even think of that. That's kinda sad and makes me feel for her tbh - but good thing she's as strong as she is! Though, that is pretty interesting/disturbing!
