The animals are so cute but I think FL is a bit too naive, might even be dumb? Sorry to be harsh. Who gives a fake name but is her sister's that really hates her? Even if the dude tries the pill, who knows if that pill is untampered but the others are not? Only, I know you want to save the doggo but really rushing in without a plan? If the 2nd ML wasn't there what would she do? Other than that I do like the idea having a FL that can understand animals. This seems like a fun light read but I guess I can't help noticing the plotholes.
