there are definitely a lot of similarities to other plots but doesn't that happens often? similar plots, art style, characters ecc.
honestly this story is pretty good imo as it does have some characteristics i haven't read yet, translations could definitely use some work but it's still understandable (especially compared to some other translations i've seen)
