Re-read this while (not so) patiently waiting for season 2 (and recovering from surgery) and I noticed just how down bad Taeso was for Yeomin even when they were barely acquainted. Like the way he grabbed Yeomin’s arm after getting bumped into in the chapter where Yeomin was running from the loan sharks on the stairs was very *mirella raised eyebrow*. And then a chapter or so later, Taeso hopped on Yeomin and starts drinking his spit like he’s gonna die of thirst when he was only invited up there for drinks

Characters like the sunbae have to be my least favorite genre of character. I understand that they’re just a plot device to push the MC and the ML closer together so it’s not that deep, but still to see them only start chasing behind the MC when they had SO MUCH time to shoot their shot before because the MC is starting to move on will forever irritate me (Lucky In Love almost killed me with this bullshit.) And in this case it’s extra annoying because I just know for a fact that the sunbae doesn’t truly have feelings for Yuan, it’s all about his ego, and it’s bruised because he’s not being fawned over anymore.
