The youngest brother Jihoon was a spoiled shit who grew up to be a gambling addict, the dad was violently abusive to his biological son, and Jiyoon killed his younger brother because Jihoon wanted to prostitute Wonil for more gambling money? What a screwed up family. Although I think it was okay for Jiyoon to kill his brother in the end, because that guy deserved it.
I read the the author's previous work Infectee and that was good too. Spore is very interesting and I liked the main character and the other side characters too. It does do similar concepts like Infectee like the love interest being special being and the villains want to use her for grand plan. It's not a bad thing necessarily that certain narrative concepts are used though. All and all Spore is a great read.

I love how everyone at the gym loves and trust Kim Dan. I just wish Joo Jaekyung kept his jealously and temper in check. Things won't improve for Kim Dan so long as Jaekyung is being an asshole.
Honestly I can imagine people being annoyed by Koharu bragging and platforming herself constantly and laughing at her behind her back. She needs validation in any possible way whether it's saying she's working with a big company or hanging out with Shiori who isn't as popular as her. At the end of the day she's a narcissist and doesn't care about Shiori's feelings because she thinks that everyone loves her that she can't be wrong. When Hajime showed her the truth it was devastating, but I kinda found the whole thing to be hilarious only because Koharu needed a serious reality check.
I really hope we get some side stories. I want to see their wonderful experiences with the babies!!!
