I just read chapters 1-47 in one sitting and I understand the feeling people have for Garon. I think when readers are left to wait a week for the next chapters to be released the hate for a red/black flag ML intensifies because its allowed to marinate. I dislike Garon too, but being able to just flip through the chapters my hate/dislike for him never really had a chance to sink in.
Unfortunately, now that I'm caught up though, and waiting with y'all, this is all probably gonna change
Btw, the story reminds me of Steel Under Silk ,but without the second ML ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I think people feel jaekyung being at the same place as dan means its incredibly convenient for him to just be the "hero" whenever dan needs help, and we dont get to see the promised "suffering". He does still act arrogant and treat dan like a dispensable tool for the most part. It's nice that Dan refuses the help, but I will admit that I kinda miss the previous chapters when jeekyung didnt know where Dan was and you can at least see him be desperate.
My heart breaks for how broken Ahjin has become. Spoiler alert in case people dont want to know, but after reading the raws I feel that the ML was forgiven too quickly for what he did to him. Rape, drugging him, confinement, abuse, etc.; all of this was so overwhelmingly traumatic to take in over the course of seemingly endless chapters, only for him to not truly see any consequences for what he did. He did get stabbed though, but I feel that was deserved plus so much more.
This has one of the best art I've seen! The way the author draws their eyes on some of the panels makes it seem like they're perpetually on the verge of tears I love the chibis!! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
