Of course he isn't normal... bullying someone is already a flag that the bully has issues, but with how horrid and inhumane his bullying was towards nagare, I'd pity any therapist who would have to talk to him, and he deserves to be just chaired at this point. But its exactly because he's so off the charts that something like jealousy/romance wouldn't really mesh well with something like him and he would have a twisted perception towards it

I agree, the concept is very interesting but it seems a bit messy. Instead of it being a mystery if just appears like the author doesn't know how to map out all the rules effectively. Compared to something like 'The Summer Hikaru Died' or 'MADK' it lacks some substance and is getting a bit stale

Exactlyyyyyy, like the morbidness and themes of the story doesn't disturb me unlike the other readers (I've read worse), but dark≠good, and compared to the other horror stories rn (like tshd) this doesn't have the same oomph that I feel when reading those. It kind of feels too episodic rn. Maybe its a slow burn, but it feels a lil TOO slow for me its been more than 10 chaps already and I still haven't felt a shift/conflict in the story since chap 1. Which is why I hope the baddie actually becomes a problem for them and not just another fodder character

I totally agree. There’s no actual plot. Nothing to get excited about, like questions that need to be solved our actual mystery to keep the readers hooked. Every case is resolved the same way, so easily. As you said it’s pretty episodic, which isn’t always bad but we’re 10+ chapters in and I could’ve just read 5 instead and nothing would’ve changed
