Okay uh. Wow. This was one wild fucking ride. Like that is one damn bigass family drama-- I'm kinda upset at how easily everyone in the sea rabbit family just started accepting lions after going through the trouble of literally doing a surprise wedding for Towa and Hikaru like they were cheering after one page of monologue. I kinda wish the message was "if your family's against your happiness, forget them and just live your damn life", instead of it turning into this weird self sacrificial story for the lion clan.

Also, wtf is up with Hikaru and Towa's older brother? There was def *something* happening between them but why was Hikaru laying his hands on the brother of the person he supposedly has a situationship going...??? Not only that, but he talked out of his ass too, saying Towa was running away. Learn to speak up yourself before u start judging others, dude. You're doing literally nothing to get out of this weird ass situation yourself.

Literally the only properly supportive person to Towa aside from Issei (but also he got yoinked to Germany and Towa was avoiding telling him shit...) was Towa's dad for that ONE panel of him saying "you can do whatever I just want you to be happy" so now I'm just here wondering how he survived is that freaky clan. That entire clan is so fickle AND crazy it pisses me off; Towa should've legit just ran away from them and started anew with Issei. His dad and weirdo wimpy brother (I mean, he didn't HAVE to drag his brother in broad daylight while their whole extended family was nearby yk) can come too, I guess.



But. Anyway. This was a pretty good story, I actually really liked it. Issei and Towa were cute. But I was also super pissed off by that second volume, so I had to let it out... ahem. Sorry for the rant.
