guy1s a criminal on the run, guy2 comes in and offers refuge in exchange for fucking, apparently guy1 saved guy2 from an abusive home, guy2 likes guy1 but guy1 understandably doesnt bcs this ws some highkey psychological torture.
not really a good ending, for guy1 at least. guy2 got what he wanted.
if you want romance, this probably wouldn't satisfy you. my personal opinion is just that this didnt have enough depth nor substance for the characters. if you look at it as a psychological horror genre, its not that bad but its not that its that good either. id say its js mid? not in a negative way, i mean its just yeah okay! but if you look at it as a romance genre, then its definitely bad in a way that its obviously not meant to be a romance

its a literal gem, this thing. these types of relationships and the hardship they represent is hard to come by in media. id recommend this, though, content warning for violence, rape, and overall just toxic relationships. i like that it isnt romantisized at all and is properly represented. the feeling of agony and desperation that comes with attachment, especially when both of you are unstable. it captures the thought process so well, its really admirable. not only that, the art is amazing, the humor too. it has great balance, the world building? spectacular and unique. character designs? beautiful. and i really cant get over the relationships between the characters, obsession and dependency, its insane. i fucking love it so much?
guys arent you all being too hasty about all this? we dont know MLs true intentions, while it is obviously horrible what hes doing, hes not obligated to actually tell MC. lets not forget, this includes him too because hes a namer, tying yourself down to a relationship decided by fate is not easy to accept if it were real. and if that were the case, while communicating this COULD be beneficial, it defeats the entire purpose of everything if you think about it. telling someone youre their fated partner and then communicating the difficulty of accepting the relationship is predetermined. how do you get into a relationship now that you both know its already predetermined? how do you know now that falling for each other is not a result of knowing theyre the one whos decided for you? and lets not be too judgemental with MC, we see things from his perspective so it should be more understandable. his cautious demeanor is perfectly reasonable, the confusion is only logical. imagine a guy who keeps pursuing you even though youve both established that hes already looking for his fated partner, who, youre so convinced is not you. and this guy is someone you consider a friend too, so obviously the situation is fragile and stressful especially when the other party refuses to be transparent with you. this leads to impulsive decisions, as seen in the recent chapters.
im not saying youre not allowed to dislike any of them, of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions. but i really think we should acknowledge the weight of the situation and how complicated it is before jumping into conclusions and into our own ideas.
guys i fucking love his power so much i hope it gets an upgrade like it starts stretching too or something i cry everytime i read this because its so peak

dropping this after ch. 1 AND the novel spoilers, i continued reading to see how the manhwa treats the issue but yeah its. creepy, terrifying. and after seeing the novel spoilers, i would have rather seen some scenes depicted in a different light cause it clearly isnt a romance, but a psychological horror. you want romance? then this definitely isnt what youre looking for. you want something that can give you the creeps? then yes, this is for you if youre looking for that trauma. im dropping not because its particularly bad, in fact if the adaptation just showed some scenes in a more appropriate light id probably continue reading, but unfortunately some scenes were treated too lightly and comedic despite it being horrifying and that left a bad taste in my mouth. plus, i read to feel good so this isnt what im looking for.
